One of the highlights was teaming up with my dear friend Lisa Smith, owner of Orlando Vintage Clothing, for an incredible Bridgerton-inspired photoshoot. I even got my stepson to model, the tall one on the top left!

Our amazing CARA Makeup Academy students brought their artistry to life for the shoot and will be doing it again at the Arts in Bloom fashion show at the Orlando Museum of Art. Between weddings, proms, and graduation photos, we’ve been all about fresh, flawless looks for every big moment. I love seeing our clients and students step into their power with a little makeup magic—because spring is all about reinvention, and we’re leading the way!

Kara’s Star Moment: Senior Pictures & Teen Makeover
Meet Kara Simard, an 18-year-old senior at International Community School who is ready to take on the world—both on stage and on the track! As a dedicated member of the International Thespians Society, Kara recently wowed audiences as Meg in Little Women, all while balancing her passion for cross country and track, a sport she has loved since fifth grade. This fall, she’ll be taking her talents to Florida Southern College, where she’ll run at the collegiate level while majoring in multimedia journalism with a minor in exercise science.
For her senior pictures, Kara wanted a look that was polished yet effortless—capturing her personality while making her feel like her most confident self. With the expert touch of Studio CARA, she was thrilled with the results! Whether it’s for senior portraits, prom, or stepping into college life, we love helping young women shine with beauty that reflects their unique style and future ambitions.
